Description

The Simpson Islington Large has an acrylic resin handle with a pattern resembling grey Italian marble. The natural Pure Badger hair is hand-tied by experienced craftspeople on the Isle of Man. Its overall height is 100 mm and its knot diameter is 21 mm.

Key features

The natural hair retains water for working up lather.

Directions

Work the lather with gentle back-and-forth movements, without pressure or vigorous circular pressing. Avoid water hotter than the skin can tolerate.

Care

Thoroughly rinse out soap or cream residue. Gently shake and pass the bristles over a very soft towel. Leave to dry upright or hanging in a well-ventilated space. Clean with hair shampoo approximately once a month.

If you alternate with a second brush, you can allow up to 48 hours between uses for drying.

Precautions

Do not immerse the entire brush in water. Wet only the hair.
