Martin de Candre Fougère Shaving Soap 50 g

Fougère 50 g brings the green, woody character of a classic cologne to the compact Voyage format, for brush shaving when travelling.

Description

The paste dries for several months to stabilise it and develop the essential-oil fragrance. Only a small amount is needed to create a dense, creamy lather.

Selected ingredients: olive oil, coconut oil, Stearic Acid, Potassium Hydroxide and Glycerin. This is not a complete ingredient list.

The manufacturer estimates four to six months of daily shaving from the 50 g size.

The lather prepares, softens and protects the skin during and after shaving, and softens the beard for a gentle, close shave.

Fragrance notes

Top notes: lavandin, thyme and bergamot. Heart notes: geranium and patchouli. Base notes: oakmoss with amber nuances.

Additional fragrance references: lavender, rosemary and bay.

The fragrance combines around twelve essential oils.

How to use

Wet the face with warm water. Using a shaving brush, lather the soap in the bowl with quick circular movements, without pressure.

Spread the lather evenly over the face and shave gently with the grain. Rinse thoroughly with warm water.

Compatibility

Avoid blades with lubricating strips, as these may combine with the lather and impede hair removal.

For the Voyage format, a small brush no larger than the stated size 8–10 is recommended.

Care

Drain the container thoroughly after use and allow the soap to air-dry without standing water. Close the lid only when travelling.
