Martin de Candre Fougère Shaving Soap 200 g

Fougère 200 g combines dense shaving lather with a green, slightly woody cologne fragrance, blended from around twelve essential oils.

Description

The soap paste is kettle-saponified and dried for several months to stabilise it and develop the character of its fragrance.

Only a small amount is needed for rich lather. The house estimates at least one year of daily shaving from the 200 g container, with actual consumption depending on use.

How to use

Use a brush with natural hair or plant fibre. Wet it with warm water, drain it between your hands and move it in circles over the soap’s surface.

Work the lather in a bowl, in your palm or directly on the face. Once it becomes dense and cohesive, like whisked egg white, you can begin shaving.

Compatibility

The manufacturer advises against blades with lubricating strips: these may combine with the lather and impede hair removal.

Care
