MÜHLE STYLO 091 H 71 | Silvertip Badger and Thuja

The STYLO 091 H 71 combines soft Silvertip Badger hair with the pronounced grain of Thuja, for those who prefer a natural wooden handle when preparing lather.

Description

The tapered lines of the STYLO range highlight the golden-brown to reddish shades of Thuja. Selected pieces from the rootstock of sandarac are turned, stabilised and coated with resin to give the wood water resistance.

The handmade Silvertip Badger head has fine, flexible hairs that retain water for dense lather. The silver sheen and black band define its appearance. The head is replaceable, with an M–21 mm ring. The brush is 110 mm long and 36 mm wide.

How to use

Before first use, clean the brush with soap and water. Wet the shaving area and brush with warm water. Load the damp brush with shaving soap or cream and work the lather onto the face using circular movements and light pressure, for up to 3 minutes.

Care

After each use, rinse thoroughly, allowing clean water to reach the centre of the head at the base of the bristles. The temperature must not exceed 45 °C. Avoid chemical cleaners, disinfectants, borax and vinegar. Hang the brush in a suitable stand to dry; do not enclose it in a case or wash bag while damp. Dry the wooden handle with a soft cloth after each use and periodically maintain the surface with a suitable care oil.
