Intergalactic Travel Scuttle by Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements is a polypropylene shaving bowl with an internal water chamber that helps keep lather warm.

Construction and dimensions

The rounded raised ridges inside create resistance against the brush and help produce lather. The Prussian Blue colour provides a dark background so the lather is easier to see as you work.

The inner bowl is approximately 10.16 cm in diameter and 5.72 cm deep. The stated scuttle weight is approximately 139 g. The polypropylene is dishwasher- and microwave-safe, subject to the specific instructions below.

Directions

Remove the stopper and fill the internal chamber with warm water. The scuttle is ready for lathering without waiting for the vessel to warm up.

For microwave use, remove the stopper, fill the internal chamber with water and heat for approximately one minute, never longer. Replace the stopper only after removing the scuttle from the microwave.

Care

After shaving, rinse the scuttle, remove the stopper and empty the internal chamber. Turn it upside down and leave it to dry for at least 3 hours. Rest the stopper in the upper bowl until the next use.
