MÜHLE TRADITIONAL R89 Twist | Closed comb

The R89 TWIST offers a closed comb and blade changes using the knob at the base, for those who want the lower part of the head to remain attached to the handle.

Description

The two-piece construction differs from a conventional razor that separates into three parts. On the TWIST, turning the knob releases the top cap, while the base of the head remains firmly attached to the handle.

The R89 TWIST combines a closed comb with chrome-plated metal and a textured handle. At 107 mm long and weighing 90 g, it is the TWIST version for those who prefer the gentler approach of a closed comb in their daily shave.

How to use

With clean, dry hands, rest the head on a table. Turn the knob at the base anticlockwise, remove the top cap and grip the blade only by its short, blunt sides. The lower part of the head remains attached to the handle. Place the new blade onto the guide pins, reposition the handle and tighten the knob clockwise without excessive force. Wet the beard, lather and shave with the grain at approximately 30°, using light pressure.

Care

Remove the blade before cleaning and rinse under running water. Avoid vinegar, acids and solvents. Store dry and do not dismantle the handle mechanism.

For hygiene, replace the blade after 5 shaves or 5 days.

Before disposing of the used blade, place it in a protective case or protective paper.

For transport, remove the blade and pack the razor and blade separately in protective cases or boxes.

Precautions

Read the entire manual and check for wear or loose components. Avoid sideways movements and repeated passes. Do not use on sensitive skin or if prone to allergies. If a skin reaction occurs, discontinue use and consult a dermatologist. Keep the razor and blades away from children and animals.
