Safety Razor Open Comb Traditional R 41 Twist
Safety razor from MUHLE, open comb, handle made of chrome - classic blade.
The new MUHLE safety razor R41 TWIST with precision mechanics and highly functional design: The cap of the razor can be released with a simple twist of the small wheel at the end of the handle. The open tooth comb remains firmly attached to the handle. Used blades can then be removed safely and replaced with new ones. The R41 TWIST will be favored by all wet shavers who prefer the slightly heavier model and a vigorous safety razor. The shaving result is dependent on the factors beard growth, the density and length of the beard hair, and how these interact with the blade and safety razor. Some will achieve optimal results with a very sharp blade, while others can profit more from gentler blades. The safety razor with its toothed foam edge is predestined for men with a denser, stronger beard growth or for those who prefer to sport three-day stubble.
Razorhead - Open Comb:
Open comb safety razors require a little more care and respect in the beginning. After a short period of familiarization, and guidance from a steady hand, it gives you a very effective long-lasting shave. This type of razor is designed especially for those who love wet, wet shaving. Due to their special construction, which creates a special angle on the blade, such a model allows an energetic, very direct shave. The combination of the open comb razor and blade ensures stability and accuracy. The result depends on the length of the generations and their density. When you start shaving, run the razor along the skin without applying pressure. In the second move, you do it from the opposite direction.
Instructions for use:
Shaving with a safety razor requires a little practice. The skin also needs some time to grow accustomed to the shave. Getting started will be easier if you follow these instructions: Moisten the beard area, preferably with warm water, and lather it thoroughly with a brush. The longer you lather the beard, the more easily and gently the hairs can be cut. If possible, use a highly effective moisturising shaving cream or soap as this will allow the blade to slide over the skin more easily. Make sure that the shaving head and handle are firmly attached to each other, but only tighten the screw to the extent that it can be unscrewed without too much effort. This ensures that the blade rests at the correct angle. Now begin with the shave. Hold the safety razor at an obtuse angle (approx. 30°) to the skin. Start with the cheeks and allow the razor to slide over the skin, applying gentle pressure. Always shave in the direction of the beard growth (with the grain). When shaving the neck, stretch the skin tight with your free hand. Do not be discouraged by small cuts or grazes. Once you have familiarised yourself with the razor, they will rarely occur.
