Which blade is best?

Depends on your skin and technique! Feather are the sharpest (for experienced). Merkur and Mühle are balanced. Derby are mild for beginners. Try sample packs!

Sharp vs mild blades?

Sharp (Feather, Gillette 7 O'Clock) — closer shave, require technique. Mild (Derby, Dorco) — more forgiving, ideal for sensitive skin or beginners. The best is the one that suits you.

How often do I change?

Every 3-7 shaves depending on beard density and blade type. Feather last 3-4, Merkur 5-7. Don't economize — blades cost €0.10-0.50 each!

Do they fit all razors?

Yes! All standard double edge blades fit all safety razors. The size is universal. The only exception is some vintage injector razors.

Which brands do you recommend?

Rockwell (9) — Swedish steel. Merkur (9) — German quality. Mühle (8) — German engineering. Parker (7) — excellent value. Henson (7) — Canadian precision.

How do I store/dispose?

Store in dry place. For disposal, use a blade bank (metal container) — DON'T throw in trash unprotected. Many brands sell blade disposal tins.
