Super Max started in 1940 with manufacturing shaving blades for barbershops and salons. Vidyut Metallics Private Limited was incorporated in 1953 in Mumbai and the Super-Max brand was conceived in 1986. Today it's the second largest manufacturer of razor blades worldwide by units.
