Straight Razor With Spanish Oak Wood 

This traditional straight razor from DOVO features a 6/8" carbon steel blade, full hollow grind and Spanish Oak wood handles. DOVO Solingen straight razors are probably some the finest razors for shaving in the world. They have a centuries-old tradition of fine metal work and their processes for making straight razors is impeccable. The machinery they use is no longer made so they have to keep producing these products "the old way."

The profile of the blade has to be just right. If you remove too much material, it throws the whole grind off and the razor will never shave correctly. There are few craftsmen qualified to do the finish grinding on these blades and it is difficult for DOVO to keep up with the worldwide demand. Each piece is made in Soligen, Germany.

Straight razors are sold in hygienically sealed tubes and are not returnable items unless they are defective immediately. Otherwise, they can be returned to the manufacturer in Germany.

Care of the Razor:

 Correct care is essential for the maintenance and long life  of   this  traditional gentlemens accessory.

• After each use, the razor should be rinsed in clean water and dried thoroughly.
• If unused for a lοng period, it is advisable to coat the razor  lightly with  oil.
• Store in dry ventilated conditions.
