MÜHLE PURIST 091 H 55 | Silvertip and Karelian birch

The PURIST 091 H 55 combines soft Silvertip Badger hair with a Karelian birch handle, for those who choose natural wood grain for their brush.

Description

Karelian masur birch wood comes from regions near the northern tree line, where difficult growing conditions create pronounced natural grain. Selected pieces are turned, stabilised and coated to make the wood water-resistant.

Silvertip hair is soft, flexible and worked by hand at MÜHLE. It retains water to create dense, creamy lather. Its silver appearance and dark band are its distinctive features.

The ring size is M – 21 mm, the width is 37 mm and the height is 108 mm. The brush head is replaceable.

How to use

Before first use, clean the brush with soap and water. Wet the shaving area and brush with warm water. Load the damp brush with shaving soap or cream and work the lather on the face using circular movements and light pressure, for up to 3 minutes.

Care

After each use, rinse thoroughly, allowing clean water to reach the centre of the head at the base of the bristles. The temperature must not exceed 45 °C. Avoid chemical cleaners, disinfectants, borax and vinegar. Hang the brush on a suitable stand to dry; do not put it away wet in a case or toiletry bag. Dry the wooden handle with a soft cloth after each use and periodically maintain the surface with a suitable care oil.
