MÜHLE SOPHIST 93 H 47 | Silvertip and Ironwood

The SOPHIST 93 H 47 combines soft Silvertip Badger hair with dark Ironwood, emphasising the material’s natural grain and density.

Description

Ironwood is distinguished by its high density and durability. Its dark brown colour and fine grain create a glossy appearance, with natural differences in colour and grain from piece to piece.

Silvertip hair is worked by hand at MÜHLE. It is soft and flexible, with fine, tapered tips that retain water to create dense lather. Its silver appearance and distinctive dark band identify this grade.

The ring size is L – 23 mm, the width is 36 mm and the height is 100 mm. The brush head is replaceable.

How to use

Before first use, clean the brush with soap and water. Wet the shaving area and brush with warm water. Load the damp brush with shaving soap or cream and work the lather on the face using circular movements and light pressure, for up to 3 minutes.

Care

After each use, rinse thoroughly, allowing clean water to reach the centre of the head at the base of the bristles. The temperature must not exceed 45 °C. Avoid chemical cleaners, disinfectants, borax and vinegar. Hang the brush on a suitable stand to dry; do not put it away wet in a case or toiletry bag. Dry the wooden handle with a soft cloth after each use and periodically maintain the surface with a suitable care oil.
