The Story of Dante Bardelli
In 1945, Dante Bardelli, an Alpine Regiment soldier, returned from war and founded Saponificio Varesino in Brebbia, near the shores of Lake Maggiore. During WWII, soap was scarce, so he perfected ways to make soap using natural ingredients around him.
Marseilles Method & Triple-Milled
Saponificio Varesino retains the traditional Marseilles method of saponification, heritage of increasingly rare soap factories. All soaps are triple-milled (passed through milling machine three times) for deeper ingredient mixing and richer lather.
Beta 4.3 Innovation
The new Beta 4.3 formulation includes revolutionary PlantSil™, a 100% plant-based ingredient that transforms the shaving experience. Enriched with larch tree extract that reduces trans-epidermal water loss for enhanced skin protection.
