MÜHLE R89 Closed Comb | Safety razor

The R89 combines gentle closed-comb geometry with the classic appearance of chrome-plated metal.

Description

The closed comb has a continuous edge rather than the gaps of an open comb. It offers a gentler approach to shaving while still requiring proper technique and care.

The glossy chrome finish provides corrosion resistance. This version is 94 mm long, 42 mm wide and weighs 70 g.

How to use

With clean, dry hands, hold the head and unscrew the handle. Remove the lower plate, hold the blade by its short, blunt sides and place it on the guide pins. Reassemble without overtightening. Wet and lather the area. Shave at an angle of about 30°, with the grain and without strong pressure. Shave each area once.

Care

Remove the blade before cleaning. Rinse under running water and use a mild cleaner if needed. Do not use vinegar, acids or solvents. For hygiene, replace the blade after five shaves or five days. For faults, contact qualified personnel authorised by MÜHLE.

Before transport, remove the blade and pack the razor and blade separately in suitable protective cases or boxes.

Before disposing of the used blade, place it in a protective cover or protective paper.

Precautions

Check for damage before each use. Do not touch the cutting edges and avoid sideways movements. Do not use on sensitive skin or if you are prone to allergies.
