MÜHLE STYLO R71SR | Thuja and closed comb

The STYLO R71SR brings the pronounced grain of Thuja wood to a tapered handle with a closed comb, for those seeking the distinctive character of a natural material.

Description

Thuja shades range from golden brown to reddish, with grain that can be subtle or pronounced. The wood comes from the rootstock of the sandarac tree, also known as Barbary thuja. The rootstock reaches a usable size after the tree has died.

The selected pieces are turned and stabilised with resin, while a special coating makes the wood water-resistant. The glossy surface highlights the natural pattern. The closed-comb head supports a gentle shaving technique, including for beginners with some practice.

How to use

With clean, dry hands, hold the head and unscrew the handle. Grip the blade only by its short, blunt sides, place it onto the guide pins and reassemble without overtightening. Wet the area with warm water and lather. Hold an angle of approximately 30°, move with the grain without strong pressure and stretch the skin over curved areas.

Care

Remove the blade before cleaning. Rinse the head under running water; avoid acids, vinegar and solvents. Store the razor in a safe, dry place.

For hygiene, replace the blade after 5 shaves or 5 days.

Before disposing of the used blade, place it in a protective case or protective paper.

For transport, remove the blade and pack the razor and blade separately in protective cases or boxes.

Precautions

Read the entire manual before use. Check the blade and components for wear. Avoid sideways movements and repeated passes. Do not use on sensitive or injured skin, or if prone to allergies. If a skin reaction occurs, discontinue use and consult a dermatologist. Keep the razor and blades away from children and animals.
