The PURIST R55SR combines closed-comb shaving with the distinctive appearance of Karelian birch, for those choosing a classic razor with a striking natural grain pattern.

Description

The gently rounded silhouette of the PURIST range is accentuated by the wider neck of the handle. The light brown Karelian birch has a pronounced grain, highlighted by the glossy surface.

The selected pieces of wood are turned, stabilised and coated using a special process that makes them water-resistant. The closed comb offers a gentle shaving technique and requires familiarisation, including for beginners. The razor is 116 mm long and 42 mm wide, with a bright chrome-plated finish.

How to use

With clean, dry hands, hold the head and unscrew the handle. Grip the blade only by its short, blunt sides, place it onto the guide pins and reassemble without overtightening. Wet the area with warm water and lather. Hold an angle of approximately 30°, move with the grain without strong pressure and stretch the skin over curved areas.

Care

Remove the blade before cleaning. Rinse the head under running water; avoid acids, vinegar and solvents. Store the razor in a safe, dry place.

For hygiene, change the blade after 5 shaves. Dispose of the used blade inside a protective case or paper covering.

For transport, remove the blade and pack the razor and blade separately in protective cases or boxes.
