MERKUR 23B Black PVD

The MERKUR 23B is a three-piece safety razor with a long handle, closed comb and a black PVD coating.

Design and function

The long-handle design is combined with a straight-cut head. Overall dimensions are 104 × 43 × 25 mm and the tool weight is 61 g.

The handle is brass and the head is die-cast zinc. The pack includes one double-edge blade.

Directions

Unscrew the handle and carefully separate the cap and comb. Place the blade on the cap, align its holes with the locating pins and replace the comb. Screw the handle back into place without overtightening.

Prepare the area with warm water and shaving soap or foam. Allow a few minutes for the hairs to soften, then use straight strokes at approximately 30° to the skin, without additional pressure. Rinse the head between strokes.

Care

To remove greasy soap residue, use hair shampoo or mild washing-up liquid. Avoid acidic cleaners, as they damage the surfaces.

Precautions

Avoid circular movements and movements along the blade’s cutting edge, as they can cause injury.
