Henson AL13 Tan Medium

The AL13 Medium in Tan combines Medium geometry with a warm bronze-toned finish. The aluminium razor weighs 37 g and offers a more assertive shave than the standard AL13.

Description

The head supports the double-edge blade at a fixed 30° angle. The Medium rating has a larger gap than the Mild while retaining the range’s fixed-head design.

CNC machining in Ontario and Type II anodising shape the tool and its surface. The handle is 96 mm long, while the head’s channels help rinse away hair and shaving cream. Tan denotes the shade of the aluminium.

How to use

Before shaving, soften the hair with water and shaving cream. Screw the handle fully closed: when it is left loose, the blade has greater exposure and less support.

Use light pressure. Rinse the head under running water or by moving it through water, without tapping it against the sink.

Compatibility

Takes standard double-edge (DE) blades without requiring proprietary replacement heads.

Care

After shaving, rinse thoroughly, loosen the handle by about one and a half turns so that the blade is no longer bent, and leave the razor on its side in a dry place outside the shower.

When changing the blade, clean gently with a soft toothbrush, water and soap. Dry before fitting a new blade. Avoid harsh cleaners and the dishwasher. If the thread does not turn smoothly, add one drop of oil to the handle thread.
