MERKUR Nose Hair Trimmer 6001

The MERKUR Nose Hair Trimmer 6001 is a manually operated rotary tool for nose and ear hair, without a motor or batteries.

Design and function

It is made from matt stainless steel, with cross-knurling on the handle to help provide grip during rotation. The tool is 66 mm long, 11 mm in diameter and weighs 41 g.

Cutting is activated by rotating the lower part of the handle. The two sections separate when the screw is loosened, allowing the internal surfaces and cutting edges to be cleaned. It is made in the USA.

Directions

Gently position the tip in the nostril or at the ear hair. Rotate the lower part of the handle several times in both directions to activate cutting.

Cleaning and lubrication

Clean the cutting edges with a brush. For more detailed cleaning, loosen the screw and separate the two parts.

Lubricate occasionally with a few drops of resin-free, acid-free oil, such as pharmaceutical-grade white oil.

Care of the cutting edges

Use the tool only for hair and avoid impacts to the cutting edges.
