The Story & Inspiration

One of the ILUM family members ran the world's toughest race – the Marathon des Sables in the Sahara desert. This design is dedicated to him. The circular patterns represent the sand dunes and the searing heat of the sun.

At night and in the early morning, a fragrant breeze flowed through the desert, filling the senses with an intense accord of soft bergamot, scorching incense and soft woody notes. The Sahara collection combines notes of bergamot, incense, nutmeg and clove with a rich base of amber, patchouli and vanilla to create a scent reminiscent of the African desert.

How to Use

Place the candle on a heat-resistant surface away from flammable materials. Trim the wick to 5-6mm before each lighting. Do not burn for more than 3-4 hours at a time. Allow to cool before relighting. Discontinue use when 1cm of wax remains. Keep away from children and pets.
