The Cologne Retro by House of Ilum is a re-creation of what the creators' dad used to wear back in the day. You could smell it as he left for work early in the morning, but it would be gone when he came home, masked by cigar smoke. The porcelain vessel pattern is inspired by a vague memory of classic hexagonal floor tiles whilst playing around their grandfather's house in Belgium. Inspired by the classic Eau de Cologne created by Johann Maria Farina in the early 19th century.
