The Dr K Story
In 2011, Dr Rob Karreman (Dr K), a biochemist and postdoctoral researcher at University College Cork, founded the company when his contract ended. The soapmaking process had always appealed to the scientist in him, leading to this natural transition.

In his Cork laboratory, Dr K experiments and creates products according to strict EU regulations. He uses only the finest natural ingredients like shea butter, jojoba oil, vitamin E, and essential oils, avoiding SLS, parabens, and petroleum derivatives.
