Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements El Fantasma Open Comb Double Slant

Double slant with open comb for smooth shaving without resistance - based on the legendary 1930 FASAN

Shaving Razor - Phoenix Artisan - "El Fantasma"

El Fantasma is a unique open comb double slant shaving razor from Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements, inspired by the vintage 1930 FASAN Double Slant. Manufactured from high-precision ABS plastic with brass components, it weighs just 16 grams. The dramatically contoured head secures the blade at precisely calculated angles, creating smooth scythe-like cutting action that glides effortlessly through the thickest beard.

Why choose it:

• Double slant with open comb that adapts to facial contours for comfortable shaving
• Durable ABS construction that absorbs vibrations and resists heat and scratches
• Lightweight 16-gram construction ideal for travel and camping
• Green version that glows in the dark for easy identification

How to Use:

Apply very light pressure, less than with metal razors. Tighten the handle firmly for normal shaving. For closer results, loosen 1/8 to 1/4 turn. Avoid overtightening to protect the plastic.

Useful Information:

The brass stem with 1032 threading allows interchange with other handles. ABS is recyclable material (code 7) used in automotive industry for its durability. The learning curve is quick - usually mastered after one three-pass shave.
