The Claus Porto Story
In 1887, Ferdinand Claus and Georges Schweder, two German businessmen living in Porto, founded Portugal's first soap and perfume factory. Despite adversities including two world wars and nationalization, the company survived and today is led by Aquiles de Brito, maintaining its heritage values.
Craftsmanship & Tradition
Claus Porto maintains traditional production methods from 1887. Soaps are milled a minimum of five times and naturally dried for 2 weeks. Each soap is hand-wrapped with the iconic Art Deco designs that have become globally recognizable symbols of Portuguese luxury.
Musgo Real Collection
The Musgo Real line was launched in the 1930s and remains a classic in Portuguese households across generations. Offering 5 different fragrances including Classic Scent, Orange Amber, Oakmoss, Spiced Citrus and Alto Mar, with complete shaving and grooming ranges.
