Sandpiper Aftershave Splash is Stirling Soap Company's classic alcohol-based aftershave, in a 100ml bottle. The scent starts on cardamom, moves through bergamot, cedar and lavender, and rests on vetiver and caraway. Stirling themselves describe it as sophisticated, crisp and very masculine. The formula is spare: denatured alcohol, witch hazel, aloe, glycerin and Hydrovance, with no animal-derived ingredients at all. Like any alcohol splash it stings the moment you apply it, then settles. Stirling has been making its own products in the USA since 2012.

Stirling Soap Company was founded in 2012 by Roderick and Amanda Lovan. While hunting for natural products they discovered that most of what passes for soap in stores is not technically soap at all, but detergent built around lab-created chemicals to keep manufacturing cheap. The good handmade soaps they found, meanwhile, were priced beyond everyday use. So they built their own recipes, aiming for natural and affordable at the same time.

How to Use:

Shake a small amount into your hand, rub your palms together and apply directly to the skin. Because of the alcohol a slight sting will occur, and it should fade quickly.
