Belgian designer Martin Margiela founded the house in 1988 in Paris, challenging with deconstructive designs that redefined luxury. In 2009, in partnership with L'Oréal, the first fragrance was created. In 2012, the legendary REPLICA collection launched, inspired by the 1994 clothing collection.
