JULIETTE HAS A GUN - Rebellious Niche Fragrances from Paris
In 2006, Romano Ricci created JULIETTE HAS A GUN to challenge the traditional niche perfumery industry. Great-grandson of legendary Nina Ricci, he broke free from his heritage to create a brand that speaks of empowerment, strength and modern romanticism.

From Ricci Dynasty to Revolution
Romano Ricci grew up surrounded by fashion shows and perfume creations. Instead of following ready-made steps, he decided to learn the craft from scratch. He worked for 7 years with the greatest perfumers like Francis Kurkdjian before launching his own brand at 28.
The 21st Century Juliet
In the creator's mind, Shakespeare's innocent Juliet is transposed to the 21st century with a gun. A metaphor for perfume as a weapon of seduction, the "Gun" symbolizes women's liberation. Each fragrance is a character portrait: Lady Vengeance, Miss Charming, Mad Madame.
Breaking the Rules
"Learn the rules like a pro, so you can break them like an artist" - that's Romano's motto. He doesn't talk about ingredients or memories like traditional perfumery. He talks about the woman who wears it. Fragrances are fashion accessories that transform you.
